Shipping Information

Whether you’re riding a creative wave or suddenly find yourself out of an essential, we get it: You need your supplies, and you need them now. At Darice, we pride ourselves on getting your order out the door quickly. Items usually leave our warehouse in 2 to 4 business days. Our 99.7% order accuracy rate means that you can expect your order to arrive… well, as expected.

Where do you ship?

At this time, Darice can only ship within the contiguous United States. Items ship from our 750,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facilities in Strongsville, Ohio.


UPS is our preferred parcel carrier. Depending on geographic location, XPO Logistics or YRC Freight is our preferred LTL freight carrier. Darice reserves the right to determine the most economical way to ship your order.

Shipping Costs

Darice offers two customer programs to accommodate various business needs. Looking for FREE shipping? You need our Freight Included program, which features standard shipping with no additional fees. Customers who choose the Distributor Pricing program must pay for shipping, but they enjoy lower per-item prices. We will help you compare the two programs to determine which one is right for you and your business.

Freight Included program:

Darice is responsible for all rural fees, fuel surcharges and residential fees when orders ship via UPS. Customers are responsible for any additional lift gate and residential charges on orders delivered via LTL freight. Please note that when we choose to ship an order in multiple boxes, you are not charged any additional fees.

Distributor Pricing program:

Distributor Pricing customers are billed for actual shipping costs, and these freight charges are added to the invoice after checkout. If you select an air service as the shipping method for your order, shipping chargers will be higher than if you choose ground services. UPS-shipped orders will be billed at base rates and are based on the item weight unless dimensional weight applies. DP customers can provide us with specific routing rules and carrier guidelines by calling customer service at 1-866-4-DARICE (1-866-432-7423).

Expediting Orders

For those times when regular shipping means potential lost sales, you can expedite your shipment by calling our Customer Service at 1-866-4-DARICE (1-866-432-7423). Customers are responsible for any expediting shipping charges.

Special Product Considerations

Items with an ORM-D designation can only ship via ground services. They cannot be shipped using air transit. Darice cannot ship hazardous products at all, regardless of freight service.

Packing Details

Darice makes every effort to pack your order quickly, securely, and efficiently. Some orders can arrive in multiple boxes due to item availability, differing product sizes, anti-breakage measures, or simply because they ship from different areas of our large fulfillment center.
